  • To keep it simple, Reiki can be described as an energy healing technique in which the Reiki practitioners direct the flow of energy towards the receiver, facilitating the person’s own healing process. Reiki practitioners believe that an imbalance in the energy flow in and around our bodies causes energetic imbalance with potential to cause physical and emotional illness.

  • It is believed that Reiki promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety levels. It also assists in the body’s natural healing processes, which include pain management. Generally talking, Reiki could be seen as a tool to develop emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

    For us, Reiki is a very personal and unique experience, therefore it is common to hear people describing different experiences, benefits or even not feeling anything. Above all, the receiver has to be willing to create a connection with the practitioner so the healing energy can permeate their body.

  • Honestly, it is hard to give you an exact day and time as we can barely recall ourselves living without these techniques.

    To give it a bit more context, not long after we started meditating more often, we started experimenting Reiki sessions with a friend of ours that happened to be a Reiki practitioner. And that’s where and when it all started…

    After a couple of sessions we started feeling some benefits within ourselves and consequently in our lives. That was exactly when we felt we needed to take Reiki seriously and to take the next step.

    In 2018, we completed the 2 levels of training that enable us to perform Reiki techniques to ourselves and to others. We dare to say that our world was never the same after that!
